Gyroskope is pround to announce the launch of our Facebook player. ¬†The Gyroskope Facebook player is unlike any other sharing tool out there, and we are quite proud of it ūüôā

Let’s say you are really digging a particular video in your Gyroskope collection. ¬†You think to yourself, ‘wouldn’t it be cool if I could share this with my friends.’ ¬†Well, now you can, and you can even make money doing it.

When you are viewing your collection while signed in to Gyroskope, each video in your collection has an “Embed/ Share” link beneath the title. ¬†Copy the Share link, and paste into your Facebook status.

Your Facebook post will display the Gyroskope player, which will play the trailer of the video you are sharing.  Your Facebook friends will see your post, and will be able to play the trailer directly from their news feed, without having to leave Facebook.  From there they can click over to Gyroskope and purchase the full version, which they can then view on all of their devices.

What does this mean for content producers? ¬†It means you can now sell and distribute your content directly to your followers, literally using your Facebook stream as your distribution channel. ¬†I.e., your fans don’t have to search and find your content, your content comes to your fans, who have chosen to subscribe to you. ¬†This upholds one of Gyroskope’s core values: ¬†No Middle Men.

What does this mean for fans or followers of Gyroskope producers? ¬†It means you don’t have to check the Gyroskope channel for new content, it will come to you via your Facebook news feed. ¬†It also means you can pass it on to your friends, and even make a percentage of the sale if the Gyroskope producer has enabled Affiliate marketing.
